Learn
to Box.
Real technique, real power, and the best conditioning workout in the city — taught by a former competitive boxer in a dedicated boxing zone watched over by Tyson, Ali and Rocky. And no: you won't get punched. No sparring required, ever.
Why Boxing
Chess, played
with sweat.
Boxing is the rare sport that trains everything at once: coordination, footwork, explosive power, an engine that won't quit — and a mind that stays calm under pressure. It's often called chess with sweat, because every combination is a decision and every round sharpens your focus. Nothing melts a stressful day faster than ten honest minutes on a heavy bag.
And here's what most people get wrong: learning to box doesn't mean getting hit. Our classes are built entirely around technique, bag work and pads — you get all of the skill, all of the conditioning and all of the confidence, with zero punches coming back at you. Whether you dream of mitt combinations or just want the strongest cardio of your life, this is the room.

The Grand Fitness Boxing Method
Four phases.
From zero to boxer.
Boxing is a skill, and skills have an order. Goga teaches it the way he learned it — properly, from the ground up:
Weeks 1–2
Stance, Guard & the Jab
Everything in boxing is built on your base. You'll learn the stance that keeps you balanced, the guard that keeps you protected, and how to move without crossing your feet. Then comes the most important punch in boxing: the jab — plus the cross behind it. Shadowboxing in front of the mirror might feel funny on day one; by day five it starts feeling like boxing.
Weeks 3–8
Combinations & the Bag
Now your hands learn to talk to each other: hooks and uppercuts join the arsenal, and single punches become combinations — the 1-2, the 1-2-3, and slips and rolls woven in between. You'll spend real rounds on the heavy bag learning to sit down on your punches, breathe with your rhythm, and keep technique clean when your arms get heavy. This is where the addiction usually starts.
Month 3+
Pads, Flow & Fight-Fitness
Pad work with your coach: combinations called and answered in real time, counters, rhythm changes, defense flowing into offense. Your footwork starts happening without thinking, and the rounds-based conditioning quietly turns you into one of the fittest people you know. Every session still ends with your heart pounding and your head completely clear.

Sharpen & Choose Your Path
From here, boxing is yours. Most members keep sharpening technique and chasing that unbeatable post-session feeling. Some add strength work for more power. And if — only if — you ever want to test yourself further, Goga will tell you honestly when you're ready for the next step. There is never any pressure: this room is about skill, not bravado.
The Principles
Six principles.
Straight from the corner.
Every boxing gym worth its salt runs on the same truths. Goga learned them over 50+ amateur bouts — you'll learn them in your first month:
Inside a Session
Fifty minutes.
Rounds-based.
A boxing class runs like a fight camp in miniature — warm up, learn, work, empty the tank:

for fighters.

Boxing Coach
“Boxing teaches you the truth about yourself. Then it teaches you to improve it.”
Former competitive boxer, 50+ amateur bouts, and one of the most technically gifted coaches in the gym. Goga is patient with beginners and demanding with everyone — he'll break a punch down into pieces small enough for day one, and he'll still be correcting millimeters a year later. That's why people who learn here actually learn to box.

Questions & Answers
Before you
ask.
Will I get punched?
No. Our boxing classes are built entirely on technique, bags and pads — nobody spars, nobody gets hit, ever. If you one day decide you want controlled technical sparring, that's a conversation you start with Goga — never the other way around.
I'm completely unfit. Can I still start?
Yes — boxing is how you'll GET fit, and it's one of the most enjoyable ways ever invented. Every drill and every round is scaled to your level; in your first weeks, you rest as much as you need. Within two months your engine will surprise you.
Is boxing suitable for women?
Absolutely — some of the most technical boxers in our classes are women. Boxing rewards speed, rhythm and precision far more than raw size, and everyone trains together in the same supportive room.
What equipment do I need?
For your first sessions: just training clothes and water — we'll sort you out with gear so you can simply try it. Once you're hooked (you will be), your own wraps and gloves are the first investment, and Goga will happily tell you exactly what to buy.
How long until I can actually box?
You'll throw your first clean 1-2 in week one. After eight weeks of two sessions per week, you'll shadowbox real combinations, work the bag with proper technique, and feel like a different athlete. Boxing is a lifelong skill — but it rewards you from day one.
Am I too old to learn boxing?
If you can walk briskly, you can learn to box. We have members in their forties and fifties throwing crisp combinations — the intensity adapts to you, and the coordination work is one of the best things you can do for your brain at any age.
