What This Class Is

A real sport,
finally taught.

Everyone has armwrestled; almost nobody has learned to. That gap is exactly what this class fills. Armwrestling is a deeply technical sport — hand position, wrist control, body leverage and timing decide matches long before raw strength does, which is why trained 75-kilo athletes routinely beat untrained giants. Rezo teaches that technical arsenal from zero: hooks, toprolls, presses, defense, and the strategy of reading an opponent at the table.

Around the table work sits the sport's legendary strength training: hands, wrists, forearms and connective tissue built with specialized equipment most gyms have never seen. The side effects are extremely practical — a crushing grip transfers to every deadlift, every pull-up and every stubborn jar lid, and forearms that fill sleeves are simply part of the package. Whether you want to compete one day or just want to be dangerous at the table, this is where it's built.

Inside a Session

Sixty minutes
at the table.

Every session splits between the two halves of the sport — technique at the table, and the strength that powers it:

Min 00–10

Prep & Warm-Up

Wrists, elbows and shoulders warmed and prepped properly — the joint care that lets armwrestlers train hard for decades starts here, every session.

Min 10–30

Table Technique

The day's technical focus: setup, hand fighting, a specific attack or defense — drilled at controlled intensity with partners matched to your level.

Min 30–48

Sparring Rounds

Supervised table rounds applying the technique — controlled, coached, and addictively fun. This is where matches are learned.

Min 48–60

Grip & Forearm Strength

The specialized strength block: wrist work, thick-grip training, band and cable work for the exact structures the sport demands.

What You'll Build

Six things the table
teaches you.

Armwrestling builds a surprisingly broad toolkit — some of it measurable, some of it just deeply satisfying:

A Crushing Grip

The most transferable strength there is: every deadlift, row, pull-up and carry improves when your hands stop being the weak link.

Bulletproof Wrists & Elbows

Proper armwrestling training strengthens the connective tissue most training ignores — armor for every other sport you do.

Technical Mastery

Hooks, toprolls, presses and counters — a genuine martial skill for the arm, with the endless depth that keeps sports interesting for years.

Forearms That Show

Nobody trains forearms like armwrestlers. The sleeve-filling side effect arrives whether you asked for it or not.

Explosive Starting Power

Matches are often decided in the first half-second. Training that explosiveness builds speed-strength that transfers to every athletic movement.

A Sport & a Crew

Small discipline, tight community: table sports create fast friendships, honest rivalries, and — if you want it — a road to real competition.

Questions & Answers

Before your
first class.

Isn't armwrestling dangerous for the arm?

Untrained armwrestling at parties — with cold muscles and terrible positions — is where the horror stories come from. Trained armwrestling is the opposite: proper warm-up, correct positions and progressive loading make it as safe as any strength sport, and the connective-tissue strength you build actually protects you. Rule one in Rezo's room is position before pride.

Do I need to be strong already?

No — technique is the great equalizer, and it's taught from absolute zero. Your grip and forearm strength will build fast through the specialized work; meanwhile, good technique lets you hang with people far stronger than you. That's the beauty of the sport.

Can women train armwrestling?

Absolutely — women's armwrestling is a growing international sport with its own competitive scene, and the technical nature of the game makes it genuinely great training for everyone. Same table, same coaching, same addiction.

Will this help my other training?

Massively. Grip is the weak link in most people's pulling exercises — fix it and your deadlifts, rows and pull-ups jump. The wrist and elbow resilience helps pressing, boxing and racket sports. Armwrestlers make surprisingly good training partners in every corner of the gym.

Is competition required?

Never — most members train purely for the skill, the strength and the fun. But if the competitive itch arrives (it often does), Rezo has the experience to prepare you properly for real tournaments. Your call, always.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing special: training clothes, water, and hands. All equipment — table, grips, bands, specialty tools — is provided. Chalk appears naturally once you're hooked.
